Festive Feasting at Canteen
Canteen is home to six independent vendors each bringing their own unique cuisines and flavours to the heart of the Greenwich Peninsula. This Christmas each vendor has created something very special which would make even the Grinch love Christmas… specials include:
- Turkey & Cranberry Arepas from GUASA
- Roast Turkey & Trimmings Yorkshire Wrap from TOASTED
- Turkeys Kati sliders- spiced turkey mince with tangy cranberry chutney from RAASTAWALA
- Gingerbread and mince pie specials from ELAH
For families and those who like to be creative, there will be the chance to design your own Gingerbread Person – with a piping bag, icing and the gingerbread person all included.
As well as feasting, there will be a whole host of festive drinks on hand from the Canteen Bar – both with some Christmas spirit and without – including:
- Mulled Wine or Cider
- Winter Warmer – Buffalo Trace, Apple Juice, Christmas Spices
- Spiced Hot Apple – with Apple Juice and Christmas spices
- Festive Hot Chocolate range
- Gingerbread Hot Chocolate with Gingerbread Man topping
- Baileys or Amaretto Hot Chocolate
HAWKES Mulled Cider Hut
London’s urban cidery, Hawkes, will be setting up just outside of Canteen in a Christmas hut to serve mulled cider – with or without added rum – every day throughout the month of December.
Christmas Carols with London Contemporary Voices
On 16th December from 6.30-8.00pm London Contemporary Voices – a world-leading alternative choir with a unique contemporary sound – will be at Canteen to get everyone feeling festive with a one-of-a-kind Carol concert.
Canteen will be on hand for truly festive fare with free mince pies and mulled wine.

Deck the Halls with Handmade Wreaths with Bloom East
If you’re going all-out on the Christmas decorations this festive season, why not make them extra-personal with a handmade wreath. Canteen has partnered with Bloom East, a local floral design studio, to run three fantastic wreath making workshops. Anya will guide guests through a traditional wreath making class, and provide everything you need to create a wonderfully embellished decoration that you’ll be able to hang with pride.

Edible Chocolate Baubles with BRIK
Gather your friends and head to Canteen for a creative class of the tastiest kind. Canteen has partnered with BRIK – award-winning, London-based chocolate design company – to host two workshops with BRIK chocolate master Raffaella, where guests will be able to make their own delectable and edible chocolate baubles, whilst enjoying a BRIK hot chocolate or classic mulled wine.
Alongside the workshops, BRIK will be installing a signature chocolate sculpture at Canteen – a treat for the eyes. Visitors who see the spectacular sculpture will be able to win a Texture Design with Chocolate Workshop for 2 people hosted by BRIK.
