London Fire Brigade was called at 7.55pm yesterday (November 19) to North Circular in Arnos Grove after fire broke out in a two-storey building.
Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters were deployed, and they continue to tackle the fire overnight that is not said to be extinguished fully.
A spokesperson for the force said part of the ground floor that is made up of shops and homes is alight, but no injuries have been reported at this time.

The cause of the fire is yet unknown.

The incident is reportedly causing severe traffic delays on the North Circular road (eastbound) between the junctions of Bounds Green Road and Powys Lane.
LFB has advised motorists to find alternative routes while the incident is ongoing.

Fire crews from Southgate, Finchley, Hornsey, Tottenham and surrounding fire stations are at the scene, along with Brigade’s 32 metre turntable ladders.
